Statement
My practice investigates compression, interference, and mediation as conditions and side effects of photography. These states act as a means of staying connected to what’s distant, where the camera becomes an object of ritual (an object among objects), an apparatus for registering contact with that which withdraws from access.
What matters is whether looking (and sustaining attention) changes anything, and whether a photograph can do more than document: can it think?
